On November 24th, 25th and 26th, took place the 16th edition of Oil & nonOil, bringing the world of fuel distribution and storage networks to the Verona Fair, with a look at the future for new energies and alternative mobility.

At the same time it was also held Asphaltica, the main national exhibition for technologies and solution for road paving, safety and infrastructures. The numbers: 150 exhibiting companies, 250 buyers from abroad and over 5 thousands qualified operators. 45 meetings and workshops analyzed the opportunities offered by the PNRR and dealt with subjects like energetic transition, road safety, logistics and the great challenge given by “green” hydrogen. During the exhibition it was also talked about the hot subject of the “Fit for 55” laws, adopted by the European Community in order to reduce by 2030 at least 55 per cent of gas emission compared to the 1990’s levels. This theme was the main topic of the final meeting. The request by all of the sector representatives, all agreeing in reporting this critical issue, is that the energetic transition needs to be faced with a neutral approach from a technological stand point. During the meeting Bio methane and Bio LNG, a solution for the climate and energetic crises, promoted by Assogasmetano, the President Mr. Flavio Merigo stated: Bio-methane fits perfectly in the circular economy logic; it is renewable and reduces gas emissions. Bio-methane, electricity and hydrogen must have the same and equal treatment. The bio methane fueled vehicles must be recognized the status of Zero Emission Vehicle, as it already done in Sweden and Norway.
