The Naples Port will soon have a new coastal LNG ( liquified natural gas) stocking site. There is the chance up to February 26th to apply for the creation of the stocking site to the Central Tyrrhenian Sea Harbor system Authority.  Then the public auction for awarding the concession to build will start. According to a pre-feasibility study carried out by the University of Campania, the minimum capacity for cost / benefit optimization for a single new coastal stocking site is around 10,000 cubic meters, stored in a cryogenic tank and supplied by methane tankers ships.
