AZERBAIJAN: 10 BILLION M³ OF METHANE

AZERBAIJAN: 10 BILLION M³ OF METHANE

Increasing the flows from gas pipelines that are currently not fully exploited is among the objectives of the Government to face the energy crisis.

TAP (Trans Adriatic Pipeline) from Azerbaijan, the TransMed from Algeria and Tunisia, the GreenStream from Libya are a few of them. In mid-March, TAP announced that in just over 14 months from the start of supplies, it had transported 10 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Europe, 8.5 of which for Italy. It could easily reach 10 per year in a short time, the company emphasizes, while doubling the flow up to 20 billion cubic meters will take from 45 to 65 months but it will be essential to receive expressions of interest during the current binding market test phase.
