But under current conditions there seems to be no future for it. It is time to say unfortunatelly, that the natural gas/bio-methane automotive sector will not succeed without a radical and immediate action. Up to now we have done the impossible to continue serving users, but now the situation is no longer sustainable. With current retail prices, over 40% of operators are in fact already closed and others – with the renewal of the thermal year – will not even find a supplier who signs a supply contract. 
This was stated by Dante Natali, President of Federmetano, who renews the appeal for an urgent and needed ad hoc technical table to be set up.
