The workshop for the Development of a Technology Road map for Sustainable Mobility, which provides political decision makers with a technical support tool has just finished. There were many participants in this round table, (requested by the government) including the Ecogas Consortium which represents approximately a thousand car gas operators.

Suggestions given by the operators, during the definition of the future conclusive road map plan, included a mix of actions to reduce transport needs, more efficiency in driving mobility, improvement in the efficiency and sustainability of the various means employed. For the gas auto sector, President Mr. Tramontano suggests to invest into the infrastructure of gas stations, incentives to bio methane investments, and economic convenience compared to traditional fuels by maintaining current taxation on gas products and tax incentives on vehicles. An additional action was suggested: to ease the transformation of current and future circulation of cars into gas.
