Mobility interventions in 81 counties with a budget of 164 million, funded by the Ministry of the Environment and local authorities.
This money will be used to implement sustainable home-school home-work mobility in cities or group of Counties who have above 100 thousand inhabitants. The objective is to trigger virtuous practices of sustainable mobility for home-school and home-work journeys perceived to be the main ones responsible for congestion of urban traffic and the related degradation of air quality.
The interventions planned are: cycle and pedestrian paths, shared mobility services (car/bike/scooter sharing), stations for vehicles recovery (parking, cyclo-stations), collective transportation, mobility management, Its systems (for info mobility), accompanying services, traffic moderation.
