Automated driving system, assistance with emergency braking systems and smart phone integrations are just a few innovations to mention. This is the result of the “Connected Car Effect 2025” study conducted by Bosch together with the Prognos institute. Researchers evaluated twelve technologies and their possible usage so to predict the possible effects in Germany, US and China. The possibilities of a vehicle connected to a network in the future are extraordinary: in addition to the lives saved, there will be more efficient car parks, a reduction of vehicle property costs and many environmental benefits thanks to a reduced mileage.
