There has been a strong attack by the international Ong Transport & Environment (T&E) against the use of methane gas (including LNG and biomethane) in the land transportation area.
According to a new report by the association, which definitely favours electrically powered engines, using natural gas for transportation is as damaging for the climate as regular fuel, diesel and other conventional fuels, especially for sea transportation. As the auto gas industry associations claim, studies are available that refute what T&E advocates, while the real sustainability, also environmental, of the electric transport vector.
