Ecological budgetary measure?

August 2011 will be remembered in the history of our country as the month of the “great budgetary measures”.  This terminology, which was used to define military training activity, now evokes the numerous variations of that which, at the end of July, seemed to be a great and unique economical budgetary measure which would have solved everything.  Without going into detail, and, for restraint, without commenting on the incredible pirouetting of the sums of money and the measures that in a matter of hours appeared and then disappeared like rabbits in a magician’s hat, it is obvious that nothing exists in the matter of the environment and ecological mobility.  Better still, it exists, but under a negative light:  having drained every local resource, no municipality will incentivize the local ecological mobility with its own measures.  And no national measure will be involved.  And to say that the various incentives in the past 3-4 years gave an economical impulse to small-sized businesses and developed a quality technological supply sector.  Without considering that the procedure for the incentives, based on displayed prices and related invoices, as a matter of fact, prevented tax evasion.  As a consequence, IRPEF (Income Tax on natural people) is on the rise and VAT paid despite of the battle against tax evaders.  Everything seems to be over now.  Not even the shadow of incentives to be seen, no trace of structural commitments.  Everybody at home then?

We don’t want to be pessimists and we always see the glass as half-full.  The overall crisis and fear for the future leads the public to pay more attention towards the family budget:  use of natural gas and LPG entails a good 50% saving on a full tank.  Many workshops, pinching and scraping, and rationalizing their work, offer gas conversions at favorable prices:  true “do-it-yourself incentives”!  It’s worth making the most of it. With what is saved on the cost of the fuel (see the calculation chart on our website), one can afford some weekend away with the family, otherwise denied.
