BRC (a Westport group), is an historic company that produces systems for the conversion to gas engine of vehicles.
They will supply to the growing Egyptian market their natural gas conversion systems because they won Gastec’s tender, which in Egypt owns the largest network of CNG filling stations and car conversion centers. As part of the order, in 2020 BRC will provide to the Egyptian energy company with 6,300 sequential methane conversion systems for vehicles. Another novelty: BRC has announced that it is possible to transform the new FCA 3-cylinder 1.0 engines powered by Mild Hybrid technology into a LPG engine, now present on the Fiat 500 Hybrid, Panda Hybrid and Lancia Y.
