An astonishing result, achieved with a Renault Clio E-Tech Hybrid converted to bio- methane thanks to the Autogas Italia kit from Ecomotive Solutions, a Piedmont-based company of the Holdim Group that operates in the alternative fuels and energy sector.
During the Italian Green Endurance Economy Run Championship promoted by Aci Sport, a race on roads open to traffic with a minimum average of consumption imposed to be respected, the aftermarket gas transformed Clio Hybrid by Ecomotori Racing Team covered 56.8 km with just 1 kilogram of biomethane. The result was achieved despite the fact that the competition required a respectable minimum average speeds for Sunday traffic on public roads, ranging from 46 to 48 km/h, which means that a considerable percentage of the route was done at over 50 km/h, as allowed by the route.
